|| WINTER HAIR LENGTHS ||
Long drabby and draggy hair is out.
Shorter, Cropped, Chopped, Healthier Lengths and Bangs are in!
So Summer is over and so is the 2 to 5 inches of your length that needs to go.
This Winter, like most season changes, also come new trends and new styles with hair.
A bit like the old but with a little twist.
THE CHOP is always a winner, but there are a few variations to suss out before you decide to ditch the length.
Here are a few inspiration pics and some of our latest in-studio creations to help you choose the right style and length for you…
BLUNT CROP
/ WITH TEXTURE AND WAVES
OVER EXTENDED SIDE PARTS | LONGER AT THE FRONT WITH MIDDLE PARTS
When choosing to go the extra chop in length, my advice is always go above the shoulders, base of hairline, chin / jaw length or a bit lower.
Anything around the shoulder length or lower will result in more effort in styling, especially when you are trying to avoid the hair flicking out crisis.
No amount of straightening will fix it.
Having this length also creates a longer flattering neck, and the edge of the cut give more focus on your facial features like your jaw line and lips.
This style is perfect for event if you have statement earrings or a bold lip colour.
| STYLING TIPS |
There are various ways to style shorter hair, so don’t be affraid of getting out the tools, and playing around with products and hair parts…
Less is always more.
Having the shorter length means half the hair you have to style too.
From the bottom of your ears down is easier to hide, so focus on top.
Choose your hair part…
Middle, side or over extended? Or if its really dirty pull it back into a top knot or a sleek wet look for a night out.
LONG CHOPPED BOB
/ WITH (CURTAIN) BANGZS
THIS LOOK IS OUR FAVORITE!
For the girls who don’t want to necessary want to loose too much length but add a different at the front.
Bangs (Curtain Bangs) are just the trick.
The fuller the better, little to slight feathering is needed to shape the fringe in.
But always remember when choosing this style, regular trims are required to keep this look well maintained and always on point.
